What is it?

Slack is a collaboration hub that can help you and your team work together seamlessly. It is designed to support the way people naturally work together, so you can collaborate with people online as efficiently as you do face-to-face.

Who is it for?

Slack can be used by anyone for free with a limited number of features, but if your require more, they offer two paid plans.

What can it do?

Slack uses channels where team members communicate and work together.

Organized conversations:
  • Create channels for teams, projects, by location or department and customize as private or shared channels for further converstations

Searchable history:
  • You can search your team's history to find relevant messages, files, channels, and people

Connected apps:
  • Add aditional apps to your wrokspace to connect services and tools. Apps can help you stay productive, organized, and effcient

Slack calls:
  • You can start a voice or video call with members of your workspace, share screen and annotate on your screen

Vary administrative permissions:
  • Distinguish between workspace owners, workspace admins and members guests
