Profile

Kiu Sum is a Doctoral Research Student in Life Sciences at the University of Westminster, United Kingdom. Her research interests are in public health nutrition, nutritional behaviour, mobile health, and cardiometabolichealth. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Human Nutrition from the University of Westminster in 2017, and then went on to complete a MRes in Clinical Research (Human Nutrition) at Imperial College London (UK). It was whilst studying for her undergraduate degree at Westminster that Kiu found her passion in student engagement and the opportunities to collaborate with members of staff on varies research projects. Whenever possible, Kiu is actively involved in learning and teaching projects, and advocates for ’student voice'. She the host of the ‘Education Burrito’ Podcast series discussing learning and teaching in higher education.
