LEARNING FOR JUSTICE

What is it?

Learning for Justice provides free resources for instructors, teachers, caregivers, counselors and other practitioners. Educators can use their materials to supplement the curriculum, to inform their practices, and to create inclusive school communities where children and youth are respected, valued and welcome participants.

Who is it for?

Educators, students, caregivers and communities in these areas: Culture and Climate; Curriculum and Instruction; Leadership; and Family and Community Engagement.

What can it do?

From film kits and lesson plans to the building blocks of a customized learning plan - texts, student tasks and teaching strategies - their resources will help bring relevance, rigor and social emotional learning into your classroom - all for free.

Not sure where to begin? Get to know their Social Justice Standards, anchor standards and age-appropriate learning outcomes divided into four domains: Identity, Diversity, Justice and Action. The Standards provide a common language and a road map for anti-bias education at every grade level.
