LESSONS FOR EDUCATION FROM COVID-19: A POLICY MAKER’S HANDBOOK FOR MORE RESILIENT SYSTEMS

What is it?

In understanding that the pre-covid education systems will not go back to the status quo, policy makers must maintain the momentum of collective emergency action to create a new normal of education. This handbook provides practical guidance to support this new direction.

Who is it for?

Policy makers.

What can it do?

Drawing on concrete examples of COVID-19 policy responses from primary to tertiary, as well as impactful pre-crisis policies, the handbook  addresses the policy areas of flexible learning, educator skills, and student equity. Proposed are three key lessons and related policy pointers for the 2020 academic term and beyond.
